I'm impressed, great job. Anyway, I have only a small amount of info on the Moyer side. All Istarted with was two name s of my great grandparents. I foun d the Moyer marriages through this sitealong with other lines in my family. As you know somet imes the spellingcan be off or completely different. As in my great grandparents it'sspelle d Percy Moyers and Mary Schipley. I have info on one sibling ofPercy's from a contact I foun d this year. I don't have any dates for Sarah Moyer and Fred Rorabacher as of thisdate. From what I have f ound Fred either died around 1910 or theydivorced. She remarried to Albert Helmer on 24 Jun 1 919 in Northville,Wayne MI. Her marriage to Fred was 13 Jan 1891 in Salem, Washtenaw MI. On a recent trip to MI, my aunt had a copy of Percy's obituary.Unfortunately the dates have b een cut off. So we go by what mygrandmother Bertha gave as dates. Someday I hope to visit th e Rural HillCemetery and see if there any correct dates. 1864-1948. Here is what hisobituar y says: Percy Alvin Moyer Percy Alvin Moyer died Wednesday afternoon at the age of eighty-fouryears. He had made his ho me for the past several years with CharlesShipley of West Dunlap Street. Funeral services wer e held Saturdayafternoon from the Casterline Funeral Home with Rev. Walter Ballaghofficiating . Burial took place at Rural Hills Cemetery. Percy Moyer was born in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania on April 8, 1864. He wasone of ten childre n born to Frank and Fyana Moyer. Of those children onebrother, Charles and a sister, Lizzie a re deceased. At an early age Mr. Moyer came with his family to Washtenaw County,residing in this section o f Michigan for the remainder of his life. On March 25, 1894, Percy Moyer and Mary Shipley were united in marriageat Salem. To this unio n one daughter, Bertha, was born. Mrs. Moyer passedaway in 1913. About a year ago Mr. Moyer became ill and his illness continued to thetime of his death. He leaves to survive him the daughter, Mrs. Bertha Beckman of Saginaw,nine grandchildren, fiv e great grandchildren; one brother John ofPlymouth and six sisters, Mrs. Sarah Helmer of Plym outh, Mrs. Carrie Heilof Toronto Canada, Mrs. Mary Huber of Whitmore Lake, Mrs. Emma Keller o fNorthville, Mrs. Nellie Eggert of Milan, and Mrs. Hattie Giddings ofPlymouth. I have to go back to my notes and find the date I was given in 1948. Itshows that Sarah was s till living in 1948. Charles Shipley is Mary'sbrother. Mary's date of death was June 14, 1913 .
