Frank Homer Watkins (Uncle of the full blood of the decedent) [pt pg 28] [pg 29] According to our research and the attached documentation, Frank HomerWatkins was born February 25, 1867 in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, a son of Lewis HomerWatkins and Sarepta Gilmore Watkins. He married Annie Estelle Cunningham and they hadfive issue; namely, Frances Iva Watkins, Gladyce Vera Walkins, Raymond Homer Watkins,Doris Ethel Watkins and Sybil Antonette Watkins. Frank Homer Watkins diedJanuary 8, 1948 at Pittsfield, Michigan. Attached hereto are: Exhibit #115 Certified copy of the marriage certificate of Frank Watkinsand Annie Cunningham, which reports that neither party were married previously, they were married January 16, 1893 at Detroit, Michigan, and that the groom is a son of Homer Watkins and Serapta Gilmore. Exhibit #116 Copy of an excerpt of the 1900 U.S. Federal Censusenumeration for Frank Watkins, with his wife of seven years, Annie E. (mother of two children, both living) and daughters Frances I. age 6, and Gladys V., age 4. Miss Dora Watkins, of Los Angeles, California. Given that the obituary of Frank Watkins reports that there were ninegrandchildren surviving, living family members were interviewed, and all agreed thatthe obituary was in error, and that there are only five grandchildren. Given that FrankWatkins was divorced at the time of his death, it is possible that his obituaryrefers to step- [pg 29] [pt pg30] grandchildren; however, this has not been confirmed. A search wasconducted; however, no probate records were located for Frank Watkins in Wayne County,Michigan.
